On Laurel Avenue in Manhattan Beach, we reimagined a dated and compartmentalized kitchen as the bright, gracious center of the home. Working within the existing footprint, we opened the space to improve flow and daylight, then rebuilt it from the ground up with a layout designed around how the family actually cooks, gathers, and entertains.
The new kitchen pairs custom cabinetry and generous stone surfaces with a considered mix of warm and cool finishes, balancing everyday durability with a clean, timeless aesthetic. Careful attention to lighting, hardware, and proportion gives the room a sense of calm and permanence, while integrated appliances and smart detailing keep the workspace efficient and uncluttered.
