A young girl's bedroom in Manhattan Beach, reimagined as a bright, grow-with-me retreat that feels both playful and considered.
For this Manhattan Beach home, we were asked to transform a tired bedroom into a space a growing girl could truly call her own. Working within the existing footprint, we treated the remodel as a complete interior reset, refreshing surfaces from floor to ceiling and rethinking how the room would be lived in day to day. The goal was a room that felt light and joyful without tipping into the disposable, something the family would love now and well into the years ahead.
Our approach favored clean lines, a soft and luminous palette, and built-in storage that keeps the space calm and uncluttered. Thoughtful lighting and crisp finish carpentry give the room a tailored, custom feel, while the layout makes room for sleep, study, and play in equal measure. Every detail was selected to read as warm and personal rather than themed, so the space can evolve gracefully as its occupant does.
The result is a bright, airy retreat that balances whimsy with restraint, a bedroom that feels distinctly hers yet at home within the larger residence. It is the kind of quiet, well-crafted interior we love to deliver: practical, durable, and genuinely delightful to spend time in.
